The Callaway Group is an international management consultancy working in the areas of healthcare system development, company revitalization, and new business start-ups. From its birth in 1996, our company has been dedicated to helping leaders and their teams solve real-life business problems while developing individual and collective competencies. Using our Collaborative Consulting Model™, we partner with our clients to clarify problems and find workable solutions. This is our passion.
In 2008, we expanded our services to include practical training programs in leadership development and new business formation. These programs combine tailored, face-to-face workshops with e-learning tools. They are currently available to organizations as part of a broader client engagement. Later this year, we will offer them to individuals in workshops available to the public. |

Here are a few highlights of our recent activities:
Liberia Since 2007, the Callaway Group has been part of a team to bring Contemporary Management and Leadership Training to the Liberian Health Sector. Our proudest accomplishment: At the end of 2008, this course will be taught completely by Liberians, a great example of knowledge transfer and sustainability.
USA As a faculty member in Yale University’s School of Nursing, in 2008, Ms. Callaway is co-teaching a course on Leadership in Healthcare Organizations , as part of the school’s first online Master’s Program for working nurses.
Ethiopia In April 2008, the Callaway Group, LLC was one of four companies to organize and produce the 1st International Continuing Medical Education Program in Ethiopia. Over 500 healthcare professionals attended. Click here to view the newspaper.
UK In 2008, Effective 21st Century Leadership™ will once again be a key component of a weeklong Executive Leadership Development Program for NHS senior executives.

New ideas and approaches are replacing old truisms. Principles of living systems and sustainability must be integrated into purely economic business models.
Collaboration and cooperation are needed to maximize effective use of scarce resources. Engaging key constituencies during strategy development is vital to successful implementation. New businesses must incorporate many previously unexamined factors to even get off the ground.
